CHILDREN'S CHURCH 

My name is Keri Williford.  I have been a part of Bethel Baptist Church since I was in my mother’s womb.  I have a deep heritage in this church and I am grateful God has called me into ministry here at Bethel.  I am the daughter of Ken and Donna NeSmith and granddaughter of Jimmy and LaRue NeSmith who have been serving in our church for over 50 years.  I am married to Will, who I met here at our church when we were 9 years old.  We have quite the story if you ever want to hear a good one.  We have been married 22 years and have 2 gorgeous daughters, Anna Belle (19) and Molly Kate (17).  In November of last year God sent us our greatest blessing, our first grandson, Kyan James.  I have been blessed to be a part of Children’s ministry here since I was in my teens and have served in all sorts of capacities over that time.  In 2017, after the retirement of Mrs. Ceciler Carter, I became the leader of our Children’s Church.  I have been blessed to be a part of such an amazing program here where we pour God’s word into the lives of children ages 3 to 9 and prepare them for worship in Big Church with their parents when they start 4th grade.  Each week, we have a worship service adapted to a child’s level filled with worship songs and motions and we dig deeper into God’s word and bring the stories to life through our flannel board and object lessons.  I am so thankful God has called me to serve here and it is an honor to be able to bring kids closer to Jesus and strengthening their love for Him!
